China's September tire production was 68.18 million, an increase of 17% year-on-year

According to Beijing October 21, 2010, data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics on Thursday showed that China's September tire production was 68.18 million, an increase of 17% over the same period of 2009 and a slight increase of 0.2% from August.

The Bureau of Statistics also announced that during the January-September period of 2010, the tire production amounted to 582.55 million, an increase of 24% from the same period in 2009.

In September, the output of synthetic rubber increased by 15% year-on-year to 278,000 tons; the output in the first nine months was 2.27 million tons, an increase of 13% from the same period in 2009.
