Development and application of in-situ test instrument for mechanical properties of high temperature and high frequency materials

[ China Instrument Network Instrument R&D ] Recently, the High-Tech Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology announced the list of 2018 annual projects of the key national scientific research and development plan “Major Scientific Instrument and Equipment Development”, which was led by China National Machinery Co., Ltd. The development and application of in-situ testing instrument for mechanical properties of materials (Question No.: 2018YFF01012400) was approved.

Founded in 1959, China Machine Testing Equipment Co., Ltd. is a technical and standard centralized management unit of the national testing machine industry, and is known as the "cradle of China's testing machine technology." The company has the strongest product innovation capability and special machine product R&D and manufacturing system in the industry. The product service covers unit component development, stereotyped product manufacturing, personalized special machine product customization, and the whole industry chain high-end solution.
This project is the key project of China National Machinery Testing Equipment Co., Ltd., which was undertaken in 2012 after the “Major Scientific Instrument and Equipment Development” project, and was successfully approved by the National “Major Scientific Instruments Special Project”. The high-frequency high-frequency material mechanical properties in-situ test instrument development and application project received financial support of 14.59 million yuan, the implementation cycle is 3 years.
The project is mainly aimed at the performance testing requirements of materials in the aerospace, aerospace and nuclear industries under high temperature and high frequency loads. It breaks through the key technologies such as mechanical properties testing and micromechanical performance characterization of high temperature and high frequency complex loads, and develops independent intellectual property rights and quality. Stable and reliable, high-frequency high-frequency mechanical properties in-situ tester for the localization of core components, develop related software and database, solve the problem of in-situ testing of micro-mechanical behavior, deformation damage mode and performance evolution of materials under complex loads. The study of mechanical properties provides innovative technical means to achieve zero breakthroughs internationally.
The project evaluation indicators are: static tensile load 0~100kN, resolution ≤2N, accuracy ±1%; deformation measurement range 0~100mm, resolution ≤10μm, accuracy ±2%; static bending load 0~10kN, Resolution ≤1N, accuracy ±1%; deformation measurement range 0~50mm, resolution ≤5μm, accuracy ±2%; high frequency fatigue alternating load 0~10kN, alternating load frequency ≥20kHz; temperature loading range- 20~1100°C, temperature control error ±5°C; mechanical test imaging magnification is 500~1000 times. The product should pass the reliability test when it is completed, the average time between failures is ≥3000 hours, and the technical readiness is up to level 8. Clarify the number of intellectual property rights such as invention patents, standards and software copyrights; form mass production capacity, and clarify the sales volume and sales during project acceptance.
Through the implementation of the project, it is conducive to the breakthrough of static and dynamic mechanical properties in-situ measurement technology such as tensile, bending and high-frequency fatigue of materials under complex loads in high temperature environment, and at the same time carry out engineering development, application demonstration and industrialization promotion.
