Eaton , the world’s leading manufacturer of diversified industrial products, formally appointed Dr. Shaner Bing as president of the Vehicle Group’s Asia Pacific region and will take effect on July 1. After the new position, Shang Erbing will report to Ken Davis, president of Eaton Vehicle Group, and will be based in Shanghai, China. Liu Hui, former president of Eaton Vehicles Asia Pacific, was appointed president of Eaton Hydraulics Asia Pacific.

Shaner Bing joined Eaton in 2011. Prior to that, he had served as the president of Eaton China and general manager of the Asia Pacific region of the Vehicle Group.

Shang Erbing holds a bachelor's degree in hydraulics and pneumatics from Northeast Institute of Heavy Machinery, a master's degree in fluid transmission and control from Harbin Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in fluid dynamics from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium.
