Experimental study on magnetic separation-reverse flotation process of pyrite cinder

First, the impact of PH value on iron recovery rate

The pre-screened pyrite cinder is screened for the product, and under other conditions, the effect of pH on the recovery rate is examined: grinding concentration is 70%, grinding time is 8 min, stirring is 5-8 min, and 2500 is passed. The effect of the amount of dodecylamine on the recovery rate

The use of sodium carbonate has a certain effect on the recovery of iron. When sodium carbonate is 1000g/t, the recovery rate is 70.98%, which is nearly 10% higher than 61.54% when no sodium carbonate is used. According to the above tests, a flotation reagent system can be obtained: the pH value is adjusted to 10-11 with lime, and the lime is added to the mill. The iron concentrate product obtained by the combined process of spiral chute-magnetic separation is slightly worse in terms of recovery rate and sulfur content, but overall it is better, and it is acceptable as ironmaking raw material.
