Through these measures, the funds for Hunan Expressway construction have been effectively guaranteed, and the goal of not breaking the capital chain and stopping the project has been achieved. The highway with a total investment of 97.286 billion yuan and a total mileage of 1,320 kilometers has been successfully opened to traffic. With the opening of the 15 expressways, the total mileage of the Hunan Expressway will reach 3969 kilometers, and the “two vertical and five horizontal” expressway skeleton network will basically form.
