Intelligent manufacturing starts at the source

Two phases of lean development

Forward design is relative to reverse design. The biggest difference between the two is that the starting point of the design is different. Lean R & D 2.0 era
According to Tian Feng, most industrial enterprises in China currently have only backward design (ie, imitation) capabilities. The design process starts with the physical design of surveying, restoration and imitation, and has not experienced the important stages of the product's function and performance, such as the requirement definition, function analysis, and system integration of the product's forward design.
The 2.0 stage is devoted to clarifying all the elements of the R&D system and proposes a complete enterprise R&D system project model. According to Tian Feng, "Made in China 2025" proposes "promoting breakthrough development in the ten key areas." The common feature of these areas is that equipment and products are relatively high-end. The increase in size and complexity of products poses higher requirements for R&D. It shows the features of full-scale, parallel, and comprehensive. In the past, the R&D system was unable to meet the needs, and it needed to break through the existing framework and innovate a new generation of industrial R&D systems. .
Tian Feng emphasized that lean R&D is different from lean production. Lean production focuses on the reduction of production costs, while lean R&D focuses on the increase of R&D value, followed by the reduction of R&D costs.
