There is still a certain gap between domestic equipment in terms of production technology and processing level compared with foreign countries. From the current point of view, one of the reasons for the slow development of marine instruments is that the government does not know enough about the industry and does not know how to support it. In the future, the related institutions of marine scientific instruments and marine research should adopt the “introduction, absorption, and development” strategy. The government should also take the lead in organizing corresponding special topics to understand and discuss the development of the industry and give some support.
