There are several types of rubber mixers

Mixers are divided into two types, open and closed.

Open-type rubber mixers are mainly used for rubber refining, tablet pressing, rubber breaking, plastics refining, and compounding. The open-type rubber mixer was used in production since 1826. Its structure is relatively simple and it is still widely used in modern times. Closed-type rubber mixer is mainly used for plasticizing and mixing of rubber. It has one more mixing room than open-type rubber mixing machine. Since the elliptical rotor closed-type rubber mixer was invented in 1916, the closed-type rubber mixer has developed rapidly in the rubber industry, and later, other types of closed-type rubber mixers have emerged. The rubber mixing cycle of the modern closed mixer is 2.5 to 3 minutes, and the maximum capacity of the mixing chamber is 650 liters.

【The main purpose】

This machine is mainly used for the mixing of natural rubber or mixing and plasticizing tablet after desulfurization of reclaimed rubber.

Structural features and parameters: This machine is suitable for rubber-related industries such as reclaimed rubber factory, transmission belt factory, conveyor belt factory, rubber product factory, shoe factory, cable factory, hose plant, and seals. This machine is mainly composed of an integrated base, frame, front and rear rollers, transmission gears, speed reducer, distance adjusting device, roller temperature adjusting device, safety switch and electric control system. The roller material is an alloy chilled cast iron with high hardness and wear resistance. The roller temperature adjusting device can adjust the roller temperature by supplying steam or cooling water to the roller to meet the process requirements.

This machine is designed and installed with safety protection device:

1. Electrical protection: When the equipment exceeds the load, the equipment stops.

2. Roller safety safety device: When the equipment instantaneously exceeds the pressure of the roller, the safety fuse is automatically split. This protects the roller and other major parts (XK-400 does not have this device) to make the machine more reliable and minimize maintenance costs.

3. The machine is equipped with a brake device. When an emergency occurs, pulling the safety lever can immediately brake, thereby reducing the occurrence of accidents.
