Conical heavy medium sorting machine
This is a device for sorting the ore naturally in a conical circular tank filled with a resuspension, the light product is discharged with the overflow, and the heavy product is lifted by means of compressed air. The sorting machine has two types of single cone and double cone. The double cone can select a purer heavy product than the single cone, but the light product quality is poor.
The advantage of the conical heavy medium sorting machine is that the tank body is deep, the sorting surface is large, the working surface is stable, and the separation precision is high. The disadvantage is that it is not suitable to sort ore containing a large density close to the density of the suspension. The medium circulation is large and requires the use of fine particle weighting agents. Special pressure equipment is required, and the efficiency of the lifter is also low. Because of these shortcomings, there are few applications and only one specification.
