The volume of the glass rotor flowmeter is related to the size of its own flow. The larger the flow demand, the larger the diameter of the instrument used. Due to the heavy size of the large-diameter flowmeter, in order to avoid unnecessary damage to the instrument caused by bending the pipe, the support and protection instrument should be reinforced during installation. In addition, the flowmeter should be protected from excessive external force during installation to avoid damage to the spinal canal of the instrument. During the specific operation of the installation, the filter should be installed upstream of the rotameter according to the specific installation environment to prevent impurities from entering the normal use of the rotameter.
Glass rotor flowmeter
If the measured fluid is not stable, a buffer can be installed to ensure the accuracy and stability of the glass rotor flowmeter measurement to prevent errors caused by abnormal vibration of the fluid. When using the flowmeter, first slowly unscrew the control valve on the upstream pipe of the flowmeter, and then adjust the flow with the regulating valve to avoid sudden opening and causing the float to rise sharply to damage the cone.
In the process of transporting the glass rotor flowmeter, in order not to damage the instrument, there will be a protective top lining. It should be taken out before installation and check whether the cone is damaged or not, and whether the float can move up and down freely. It can be installed after normal. The pipeline should be rinsed clean before installation and installed vertically on a non-vibrating pipe. The angle between the center position and the vertical line should not exceed 5 degrees.
