The Yifeng Stone Bridge Strengthening Project is to be completed soon

After more than a year of intensive construction, the Yifeng Shishi Bridge Danger Bridge Strengthening Project has entered the final sprint phase and will soon be fully completed.

The Shishi Bridge was built in 1979. The total length of the bridge is 224.76 meters. It is an important bridge connecting Yifeng to the 320 national highway. Due to the heavy pressure of over-restricted vehicles, the bridge surface sinks and the bridge body cracks, posing a potential safety hazard. The Yifeng Highway Sub-bureau actively reported the current situation of the Shishi Bridge to the competent authorities at the next higher level. The bridge was comprehensively inspected by the Technical Bureau of the Provincial Highway Bureau and confirmed as a dangerous bridge. After many efforts, the Shishi Bridge was rebuilt and reinforced, and in June 2013, the Yifeng Highway Branch Office was officially started to fight on a sunny and rainy day, overcoming the adverse effects of rain and other unfavorable weather, carefully constructing and ensuring quality, and strengthening and rebuilding the Shishi Bridge. The width of the carriageway is 7.1 meters wide, with 1 meter wide sidewalks on both sides. The design load is steam level -15, trailer -80. At present, the construction team is in the process of pouring the bridge railings and nails, etc. The final offensive work is completed. It is expected that the endurance of the bridge can be fully completed by the end of July.

Sabre

To accommodate the needs of mounted combat, the horse slaying sword features a hilt that provides a secure grip even during fast-paced maneuvers. The hilt may include a crossguard to protect the wielder's hand and a pommel at the end for balance and counterweight.

One of the key features of the horse slaying sword is its versatility. While primarily used against horses, it can also be employed against infantry and other mounted opponents. Its long reach and powerful strikes make it a formidable weapon on the battlefield.

Although the horse slaying sword has evolved over time, its purpose remains the same – to provide horsemen and cavalry units with a weapon capable of dealing devastating blows to both enemy horses and riders. Its design and functionality make it an essential tool for mounted warriors throughout history.
