China's purification of wet-process phosphoric acid technology to industrialization

Phosphoric acid and phosphate production technology based on wet-process phosphoric acid purification technology, replacing traditional thermal-process phosphoric acid and phosphate production technology, is the trend of modern phosphorus chemical technology development, and is also the basis for the development of refined phosphate. Due to significant energy savings, industrial phosphoric acid produced using wet-process phosphoric acid purification technology can have a profit margin of up to 1,000 yuan per ton. Since wet-process phosphoric acid contains impurities and cannot be directly used for the production of phosphates above the industrial level, the wet-process phosphoric acid needs to be purified. This difficult technology has been plaguing phosphate producers for a long time. Only a few industrial devices are in operation in foreign countries. Although many domestic manufacturers attach importance to the development of this technology, they are at the stage of experimental research. This technology can not only produce significant economic benefits, but also continue to develop food-grade, pharmaceutical-grade, electronic-grade humidified phosphoric acid. The development of these products will greatly improve the current pattern of coarse and low-end products in China. With the promotion and application of this technology, the yellow phosphorus production process will gradually withdraw from the historical stage, the power and energy will be greatly saved, and the environmental pollution will be greatly reduced. In April 2003, Hongfu Corporation and Sichuan University cooperated to start the construction of a pilot plant for the purification of wet-process phosphoric acid with an annual output of 1,000 tons of solvent. In June of the same year, the plant was built and trials began, and this year January 15 produced the first batch of qualified products. The device was tested for 72 hours from August 20 to 23, and the product quality reached the national technical index of industrial phosphoric acid, which laid a solid foundation for the industrial production of wet-process phosphoric acid.
