WE Tech Solutions wins orders for permanent magnet shaft generator sets
Recently, WE Tech Solutions received an order to supply permanent magnet shaft generator sets for two 17500 DWT chemical tankers to be built at the Taizhou Port. The ship owner is Rederiet Stenersen of Norway.
The order also includes the priority of another 2 sets of shaft generator sets, and the equipment of the first ship will be delivered in the second quarter of 2017.
The generator set supplied by WE Tech Solutions will provide up to 1500 kW of power in the power take-out mode. It will be used as an auxiliary propulsion drive when the power supply is in the mode, that is, when the main engine is not running. The permanent magnet generator can be used as a motor to convert auxiliary power into Advance power.
